Barrhaven East is one of the fastest growing communities in Ottawa. The roads, the transit and the recreation space around us have not kept up with how many of us now live here, and every family feels it in the same place: the commute, the tax bill, and the wait for a train that keeps sliding down the city’s list.
None of that is permanent. It takes a councillor who turns up before the vote and after it, who reads the budget line by line, and who treats every resident in this ward as someone worth answering. That is the job I am asking for.
